Picking the right keywords that bring you traffic
A common mistake for many bloggers and webmasters is not doing the right research before they start a site or write a blog post. If your trying to build a website around making money online for example, your going to have a very hard time because of all your SEO competition for that phrase.
Choosing the right keywords does not mean not going into a certain niche either, it just means find an area with low competition and build around it. Sticking with my example above, instead of building on “making money online”, build on “make money with wordpress” or something along those lines. I am not sure if that phrase would be profitable or not, it was just an example and I am sure you get my point.
Spending more time researching your keywords before you start your site is something is a must if you want to make sure you always have a steady increase in web traffic or very good site targeted traffic.
